Orchard Cottage
Our step-free room
Orchard Cottage is one story. A paved path runs from its reserved parking space to the front door with no step; the door is 36 inches wide. The bed is a king, 24 inches off the floor. The bathroom has a walk-in shower with no curb, a bench and a handheld shower, with grab bars beside the toilet. We can’t promise it meets every need, so call us and we’ll talk it through. We’ve measured the room and can send the numbers.
Our rooms
Garden Rooms are on the ground floor of the carriage house. There is one 4-inch step at the door and no ramp. The doorway is 32 inches wide. The bathroom has a walk-in shower with a low threshold, 2 inches high.
Hayloft Suite is on the top floor of the main house. There are 14 stairs and no elevator.
Sluice Cottage has two steps to the porch and no ramp. The bathroom has a tub-shower.
The stone room, where breakfast is served, is on the ground floor of the main house, up one 4-inch step from the porch. We can serve breakfast to your room or cottage on request, at no charge.
Parking. One reserved space by Orchard Cottage and one by the carriage house.
Service animals are welcome everywhere on the property.
Our website
This website is built with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA, in mind, and it’s checked for common accessibility problems each time it’s updated. Pages work with screen readers and keyboards, text can be zoomed, colors are checked for contrast and photos have descriptions. Automated checks catch only part of the problems, so please tell us about the rest.
