About the rooms
Where you’ll sleep
Every room has a private bath, a closet, cotton sheets, a reading lamp at each side of the bed and free Wi-Fi. None has a television; there is one in the stone room.
Garden Room, two available
A queen bed, a bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a patio door to the garden and the creek. Ground floor of the carriage house, one 4-inch step at the door. Sleeps 2, adults and children 6 and up.
Hayloft Suite
The top floor of the main house, with a king bed under the rafters, a day bed in the sitting nook, a private bath with a shower and 14 stairs to climb. Sleeps 3. Children 6 and up.
Sluice Cottage
Beside the millrace: a queen bed, a sofa bed, a kitchenette with a kettle, a small refrigerator and a stove, a tub-shower bath and a porch. Sleeps 4. Up to two dogs stay free, and children of any age are welcome.
Orchard Cottage
One story, with no steps from the parking space to the front door, a king bed, a gas stove and a bathroom with a walk-in shower and a bench. Sleeps 3. No dogs; service animals are welcome.
Rates, seasons and what happens if you cancel
These are the same rates the booking form works out, shown here in plain words.
Nightly rates
Garden Room (two of them), $149 a night, $179 Friday and Saturday nights. Sleeps 2.
Hayloft Suite, $189 a night, $229 Friday and Saturday. Sleeps 3; a third guest adds $30 a night.
Sluice Cottage, $219 a night, $259 Friday and Saturday. Sleeps 4; a third or fourth guest adds $30 a night each. Up to two dogs stay free.
Orchard Cottage, $199 a night, $239 Friday and Saturday. Sleeps 3; a third guest adds $30 a night.
Two guests are included in every rate. Breakfast is included. There is no cleaning, resort or pet fee: what you see is what you pay, plus 9% lodging tax, which the booking form adds on its own line before you pay.
Seasons and minimum stays
Fall color, September 26 to October 25. Rates are higher (a Garden Room is $189 a night, $229 on Friday and Saturday), and we take stays of two nights or more that begin on a Friday or a Saturday. For a midweek stay in October, call us.
Holiday week, December 26 to January 2. One rate all week (a Garden Room is $169), with a three-night minimum, arriving any day.
Quiet winter, January 10 to March 15. One low rate all week (a Garden Room is $129). The woodstove is lit by 4 pm.
The rest of the year, a stay is one night or more, at the nightly rates above.
If you cancel
Cancel 14 or more days before check-in for all of it back. Cancel 7 or more days before check-in for 50% back. After that, nothing is refunded. You cancel from the link in your confirmation email.
